And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:8
The only place to be is where you recognise God as the supplier of your needs - your sufficiency. This is where every need is defined in God and so the supplies are found only in Him. What will take other people years to achieve will take you months. Then it will be obvious to all that it is because the good hand of the Lord is upon you and you have chosen to follow Him wherever He leads. This is why the opening text states that God is able to make all grace abound toward you. Do you now realise how important you are? Do you now see that you are the centre of all of God’s attention as far as this realm is concerned? It will be a mistake not to know this. If He is able, then He has all the ability. By grace He has put all His ability at your disposal. So, when we say it is by God’s grace, what we are really saying is that we depend on the ability of God. You see, the Greek word for grace is charis. It is from this word we got the word charisma, which means the ability, the strength, the enthusiasm to do. So, you have what it takes to desire and achieve, and of course you have the acceptance, the love and the favour of people to do it. It is all by the ability of God, which comes by grace to make you have all sufficiency. You can have it all, but you need to know how to connect to it.
